Simple, more restrictions more loot,
The challenge layout would be a number of buttons spread out on a grid like the console on the ready room and its just a number of restrictions
This would utilize the loadout system in order to serve as a gate keeper( got this idea by looking at the loadouts effectiveness gauge)
Players would only be able to join at the beginning and at the terminals(to prevent loopholes) (towns will be replaced by terminals)
This option is given upon unlocking tier 3, maybe some kind of mission
+ refers to a positive loot modifier
-refers to a negative loot modifier
Some restrictions would be:
-no trinkets(+.05 modifier per empty slot, locked counts as empty)
-no weapon type(sword,gun,bomb)(+.1 modifier) (sword only run would be +.2) (maybe guns would be OP)
-no battle sprite(+.15 modifier)
-star restriction (separate for armor and weapons, spites dont count) ( 5*=0 4*=+.1 3*=+.2 2*=+.3 1*=+.45 0*=+.5)(going full proto with a battle sprite would give double loot)
-weapon restriction(+.12 per empty slot, 1 weapon run=+.36)
other modifiers would be for enemies and conditions
+20% damage (+.1 per rank, only goes to double damage(+.5))
Extra health 25%(maybe size too)(+.075 per rank, double health gives +.3)
Extra speed 25% (+.075 per rank, double pace gives +.3)
Only crowns (-.45 it might be a bit too good if it were only one or another, only really useful for late in a hard challenge run)
Only heat(-.3)

Any critiques and tips to make it better would be appreciated.
( some concerns I have are maybe the enemy modifiers are a bit high and the player modifiers may be a bit low, also maybe locked trinket/weapon slots shouldn't count)
