Its been bothering me for quite sometime, when you reach to the point of the map that has 3 gates and one gate to the treasure room and the keys scattered in 4 rooms.... some players want to gather the keys before unlocking them all, last run my friend got mad at the player for using one key to open the gate. what is the reason behind this???

OCD, perhaps. Maybe they like seeing the shiny gold keys gathered all together. Maybe gathering the keys before unlocking any gates reassures them that you arn't wanting to rush through after you've collected three keys, thus relinquishing all those delicious, delicious treasure boxes.
Maybe they're just weird.

There's also the myth that
There's also the myth that the rooms get harder the more doors you have opened.
I know because I was told this a while ago, I don't really think they get harder if you open the doors though (they are the same enemies spawned and they really don't change behavior so I don't know how this myth started), but some people really believe that and will probably get mad because "you made it harder"

You can basically walk from room to room without having to wait for somebody to unlock a gate and run to the next button. That's assuming keys are being dropped off in the little areas before the button.
So, there's really no reason for it except to shave a couple seconds of travel time.

If I remember correctly each of the 4 rooms has a button the entire party must step on before you can continue. people probably want the keys piled up in front of the gate so you don't get some troll preventing the party from obtaining the fourth key. It's true the troll might try to open the gates anyway, but the leader will probably notice this and boot the troll before they cause any more grief to the party.
If the leader is the troll, then there's not much you can do about it (other than go solo and lose all the heat you've collected up to that point.)

Its to save time..... cos if u have a party of 4 u can go gate to gate to gate cos they all require team party, it stops 'time wasting' and speeds up the process.
Its just for people that want to speed up their run.
