Community Art Contest: Design A New Monster! - RESULTS ARE IN

Spiral Knights is coming up on the tenth year of its life. It's old enough to be a Pokemon trainer just about. But we've already "caught them all", so why not come up with some new monsters to scald and slash?
It's been a blast hosting these annual art events, and it's always so wonderful to see what the community can come up with! Let your mind go wild and let's see what new creatures we can conjure up!

HOW TO ENTER
- Design a new and original monster for this event. While only a base monster is required, feel free to show off some status or tier variants if you want!
- Turn that design into a reality! You can use digital art, physical drawing, sewing wizardry, or anything else to create a visual for the rest of us
- Create a short backstory for your monster. Maybe a sentient sunflower was infected with gremlin radiation and only now joined the fray, or perhaps devilites have been sculpting tiny tortodrones to use as pawns!
- If desired, feel free to come up with attacks and behaviors to really bring your creation to life!
- Post your art online using an image hosting website, such as Imgur or Deviantart
- Submit your entry in this thread, using the following format:

RULES AND GUIDELINES
- All entries must be new and created for this event. Old designs can be re-imagined if so desired
- No NSFW, explicit designs, or other ToS breaking designs may be used
- Try to keep your monster designs in-line with what you might see in-game. Completely new factions or hybrids should be avoided.
- You can enter as many times as you'd like, but you can only win or earn prizes once
The cut off time for this event is January 21st, with final voting on the entries happening on January 22nd on the unofficial Spiral Knights Discord Server, which can be joined via this link: http://discord.me/spiralknights
The top 3 voted entrants will earn 7,500 Energy each, and all players who enter this contest will be entered into a prize raffle. Depending on participation, multiple prizes may be awarded for the raffle prizes. All raffle prizes will be handed out by our new Arcade Discord mascot, Arthade!
If you'd like to donate any items to the raffle, feel free to mail me in-game at the knight "Fangel", or contact me on the Spiral Knights Discord Server (I should be fairly easy to spot on there).

The final day for submitting entries is almost here! You have just over 24 hours to get your entries submitted, so if you need to make any last minute adjustments or just need that extra boost to get that entry completed, here's the final call!

You can find all eligible entries in the #monster-art-contest-2021 channel near the top of our text channels.
Voting will end at 11:59PM Pacific time, so roughly 24 hours from this post. Be sure to get your votes in before then!

We're just about a week away from the entry cutoff time! If you have any cool monster ideas, be sure to get them in before January 21st at 11:59PM Pacific time.
As a reminder, this event is open to everyone of all artistic talents! The energy prize winners are determined by the community, but all participants have a chance to win some pretty great stuff! There's a range of gear (such as a Black Kat Cowl with Shock Max), cosmetics (such as a magmatic fanatic mail), and a several things in-between (such as a freeze maskeraith pod). All raffle items are collected by myself over time, or donated by the community, so you never know what you'll get!
No matter if it's your first time picking up a pencil to draw in years, or if you can sculpt a gremlin in your sleep, you have the same chances of winning some great stuff!
