Hello everyone! Some time ago I noticed that at some point there was a change for amount of time dedicated for pop-up end-of-mission/arcade run log window (it got reduced to 15 seconds); I didn't found anything about it being mentioned in logs so I guess I must ask -- does anyone know why were this change made? Imo it only made run accomplishment lesser exciting because you can't hear full end-of-run fanfare anymore (unless considering playing music file from main game directiory an option).

Also, does anyone know if there are actually any circumstances when timer is longer or game doesn't force player back in Haven after run?

So, I realised I made an assumption that timer was changed in a first place, oops. If anyone wishes to prove me wrong about that I'm all ears.

1:00 to 0:15--new UI?

It used to be a full minute, and I suspect it changed to 15 seconds with the new UI, after the Mission system was in place. Before the mission system you might have travelled quite a bit in the Arcade and earned quite a bit of loot, so more time with the report was appropriate there. (I'm not sure if you would see it whenever you choose to ascend to Haven after any level, or only from a terminal, subtown, or the Core--but those are good eamples, so look for older youtube videos of full tier or Dauntless Delver runs for examples.)

I have found some videos of the missions done with the old UI, and the report is still a minute, though some with the new UI show 15 seconds. With missions being shorter and yielding less loot, I bet they felt a shorter time was suitable. Look for videos before and after April 2013, or during that year, to see if you can pin down the change.

Waiting

I remember from somewhere that the time was reduced to 15 seconds so that parties don't have to wait for people looking at loot for a whole minute (or something similar with waiting for people). I think this is also reflected in why the game doesn't force you out of the loot screen when you click on "Quit expedition."

So I tried to dig up some info about this to back up my claims, but I can't find anything. There's nothing in the release notes on the wiki, so I went the YouTube video way. I've found a video from 01/25/2013 that still had the 1 minute mission report timer and a video from 01/30/2013 that already had the timer reduced to 15 seconds. The latter video features then brand new Kataclysmic Confrontation event. Since the release notes mentioned above don't list any updates other than the Kataclysmic Confrontation update in that time period, it was probably that update that reduced the timer to 15 seconds.

There's no way to hear the full Mission Complete song in game as far as I know.
