2021 Rankings format

Rules:

- To enter the ranking you must challenge the last ranked person to a 1v1 and win. With a maximum of 25 players forming the ranking. You will enter in the waiting list if the challenge can not be made at that time.
- To post a challenge, it will have to be done with your main knight to avoid trolls from throwing challenges.
- If you want to take someone's rank you have to beat them best 5 out of 9 in a 1v1. If the challenger wins, their ranks will be swapped
- To challenge someone, you must do so in this thread by posting "I challenge (player) for the (number of rank)# rank. As "I challenge Snarbo-Cult for the 1# rank". The challenge will be accepted if it is possible to challenge that person.
- If the players are from different servers, the 1v1 will be played first in the server of the challenger. If there is a tie, the 1v1 will be re played.
- You can challenge up to 2 ranks above you until Top 5. Example: the 16th may challenge the 15th or the 14th. The 10th may challenge the 9th or the 8th. But the 5th can only challenge the 4th, and the 3rd may only challenge the 2nd.
- The challenged has 6 days from the moment the challenge is thrown to play with the challenger. If the match is not done in said time, Listholders will decide what the outcome is for each of the players.
- You can not use Autotarget in the 1v1.
- Recording your matches is not mandatory. However, it is very recommended, as you might need proof that it was a fair match if a judge accuses you of using AT. In case of recording, show AT and toggle off at the start of the video. You MAY be required to record if the listholders are suspicious about the way you play.
- If you do not have a decent computer you can record with a phone or a camera. Quality is irrelevant as long as it can be seen that AT was off.

- If someone is caught using AT (or having AT/toggle on in the video) he/she will be banned for the current season
- Matches will take place on TIERED Lockdown, and with the inspect option available for the judge to check your gear (You have to add the judge as friend before hand)
- Matches MAY take place in UNTIERED Lockdown as long as only the two players and the judge remain in the lobby, without using costumes over their amor, and are friends with each other.
- All the 1v1 must have a judge.
- Only the Listholders, or people authorized by a listholder can be judges.
- Listholders must record the 1v1 to check for Autotarget after the match is over and share it with the other listholders if they believe that rules have been broken. They do not have to upload the video on youtube. If you want your 1v1 to be recorded and uploaded, do it by yourself.
- You can not challenge or be challenged by another player until the video has passed the Autotarget test.
- If you lose you can not challenge another player for 4 days and you can not challenge the same player for 8 days. If you are challenged and win while on cooldown, said cooldown will be removed, but the cooldown against a player that you challenged will remain.
- You can not use more than one Knight in the ranking.
- Account sharing is forbidden.
- You can not use snowballs, traps, healthpads... etc.
- You need to pick up the heart your opponent drops when dying
- If your Gran Faust curses your opponent, the round must restart.
- Once the two players are in the middle of the battlefield, with the judge and their rival, they can not go back to change their loadouts. Doing so will result in the rival winning that round.
- Judges may demand you to stream your screen to make whatever checks are necessary to be 100% sure that you are not using cheats of any kind. (Recon footstep reveal, range hack...) They will be provided the tools to make these checks correctly. So there will be no mistakes.
- If you are inactive for 4 weeks you will be taken out of the rankings.
- If someone tries to disturb or ruin the 1v1s, action may be taken against their guildmates playing in the ranking.
- Rules may be modified if the Listholders agree.

those guns are high risk - high reward, unlike alchemers, pulsars, etc. So we have discussed to allow them, at least for now, and see what happens. If we have a bad experience with them, they will be removed

- To enter the rankings you must directly challenge the 25th or 24th (if possible). The winner stays or enters the list and the loser is out and can try to get back in after 96 hours

Updated: Rules have been adapted temporarily (probably for only a month) for the players to take the place that corresponds to them faster. Now the challenged has 120 hours (5 days) to play, and cooldown is reduced to 72 hours (3 days)

- Special rule: I will allow US main players to 1v1 other US main players in the American server. But only if both of them agree to record. This is because AT can not be distinguished very well by an European judge

Rules have been updated with big changes. Entry to the rankings is again open. Rankings are now managed for both servers. Grey Havens is sponsoring the event with a Gatecraser Helm for the winner and fireworks for the rest. Big thanks to the Grey Havens team!!
