It's simple, do they add damage separatedly or they stack into each other? Example, I want to get full skolver set + Barbarous Shield (MAX Damage with Swords). Now I'll already be dealing max damage with swords, if I get a Very High damage UV on my sword then will it add more damage to that specific monster family?
Question about damage UVs + Weapon Bonus.

Not -that- mysterious.
It's certainly been shown via the information on the character page that family-damage and weapon-type damage are a common stack. Max damage increase is max damage increase. So if you have a medium slime sword and skolver (medium x2) you're doing 'very high' when you're wielding a sword, and 'maximum' to slimes when you're wielding a sword, but only 'medium' to slimes with any other weapon, and only normal to other monsters with your no-bonus non-sword weapon.
Or in other words, you had it right, Yozora, don't doubt yourself!
Nope, with full skolver + barb shield you'll have maximum sword dmg vs everything, rendering any weapon bonus dmg uv useless.
Or at least that's how it should work on paper. I have not actually ran any proper tests myself, and the mechanics of this game are quite mysterious...
