I've been noticing this for a while but after playing the grasping platau so many times, i'm confident enough to say that there's a major in-engine problem causign lag and it's directly linked to the spawning of scarabs. Whenever a scarab spawns in, it causes a small but progressive amount of lag that persists until you close the game client, and i don't know why. because the apocrea spawns them in in such large numbers so often it renders the game extremely hard to navigate due to the overall lag and constant spikes of lag from spawning more in.
Please ask the devs to focus on monitoring how the scarab's spawning and movement affects the game's memory.
