Currently, the game lacks a variety of content worth farming at Tier 3. Your only real options are King of Ashes or an Arcade run, with the latter only worth it if there's a good gate active. Because of this, I'd like to propose making Tier 3 versions of the other boss missions. Ever since Operation Crimson Hammer was added, it showed the opportunity to make bosses available at multiple tiers. Doing this for the other boss missions would be quite simple: Add more enemy waves to party buttons, increase monster density in other areas, add more treasure boxes, and sprinkle in a few extra map hazards.
The end goal is to make more Tier 3 content that's worth your time, and reusing bosses would be a great way to reduce the monotony of SK's endgame. For example, if an average paced King of Ashes run takes X minutes to get Y crowns and Z treasure boxes, a new Tier 3 boss mission that takes 70% of the time should give 70% of the rewards. These missions would be labeled "(Expert)" and accessed from the "Expansion" tab, unlocked after achieving 4 star certification. These missions would also end with their boss floor at Depth 28. However, Shadow of the Beast (Expert) would need some extra monster doors so you can't skip half the dungeon, since it's already very small.
With these changes, I'd also like each boss token to offer more rewards that help with progression. Things like crafting materials, fire crystals, sprite food, and even alchemy orbs. Giving these items a fair token price would be a reasonable way to make progression smoother. This would also give stronger players a better reward for helping weaker players.
