Weekly Element Rotation for Firestorm Citadel

Hello guys, hope you are well!

I’ve been thinking about a way to make the game feel more dynamic.

Right now everyone runs Firestorm Citadel and for good reasons. We’re comfortable there, we know every trap, we’ve optimized the route, and honestly it’s still fun (at least for me). But its existence makes the rest of the content feel less important, except for collectors who want every weapon. There also isn’t much environmental storytelling or variation left to explore.

So I thought about a change that could make us enjoy the game more while keeping the same dungeon structure. We already know the elevator switches direction every 60 seconds or so. What if Firestorm Citadel changed element every week?
For example: one week Dark + Fire, the next week Piercing + Poison, etc. The traps, rooms, crowns, and enemies stay the same, only their damage types change.

I imagine this would be a lot of work for the developers, but it would let us keep playing the best dungeon in the game while encouraging players to use a wider variety of weapons and builds.

Perhaps weekly might be a bit too frequent; maybe a monthly rotation could work better?
