This content listed here is based on the Wiki Category: Obsolete. This is often in reference to the fact that the content got scrapped early on or was later changed/reworked into something else. This being said, I think it would be cool to still see this content within the game since by extension it provides more visual variety with equipment for players to aim for OR could easily be reworked into it's own unique set of content.

Magikat Hat ~ Magikat Hat has a similar appearance to the Black Kat Cowls, and was likely the precursor to the BKC. The helmet has split Normal, Elemental, and Piercing resistance and provides resistance to Poison, Curse, and Sleep. It provides no stat buffs to weaponry. The visual elements of the helmet include taking a Black Kat helmet and throwing on metal plates and leather straps to act as extra protection.

To put it bluntly, I love the visual design for this helmet. BKCs are already a fan favorite, so it kind of makes sense to release a variation of them. Similarly, Id like to point out how the damage resistances are different for this helmet compared to standard BKC; this could be turned into a reverse BKC set where the focus is less on damage and more on movement, sacrificing your damage with Damage Decrease Low but giving Movement Speed Increase High in return.

Heavy Armor Ward ~ A 4* Trinket with the focus on increasing your defense. The armor values it gives are right around the same amount provided from the Misplaced Promissory Note.

MPN really needs a buff. It is incredibly rare and frustrating to get while providing such a small boost. The armor values from MPN could be given to an easier to obtain Trinket that new players can make use of. Heavy Armor Ward, in my opinion, despite being such a simple trinket, does have a place in the game; especially since most of the story-based Trinkets are just "you now slightly resist Fire Status" and that's it.

Shining Ward ~ This was a shield from the beta that got scrapped fairly quick, and unfortunately there is not much documentation from this time period regarding this item. What is known about it is that it was part of a Defender line of shields that were based on Shadow Damage instead of Piercing Damage. Seemingly the design language is also similar to the Angelic set from the Beta (which was later retextured and re-released into the Auction House a few years back).

Shining Ward could be a strong pick for new players since Shadow Damage is primarily inflicted by Fiend and Undead enemies which most new players tend to struggle against. Defense in the early game is far more important than Defense in the late game for SK. Im just surprised this got scrapped; albeit you can still see the model for this shield in-game today since a rust-covered reskin of it is used as a prop around the Bazaar.

Super Brawl Crown ~ With Super Brawl making it's way back into the game, I think it would be a cool idea to bring this back into the game. Originally when PvP was being tested, top performing players would earn a wearable item for a full week. Accessories could not be put on it, but it served to be a cool way of rewarding players for doing well.

PvP is fun and all, but it does need a bit of boost in player retention. Players, outside of getting Krogmo Coins, really have nothing to strive for or work towards. While it is a small addition, I dont think we should doubt how many players are willing to grind out something just to earn a flex item that they can boast in Haven.

This is just the surface of some of the scrapped and unused content within this game. Much of it is still within the game files but just never got used. I think it would be amazing to see some of the content return eventually. Of course, I know the developers are busy working on stuff, and I know they probably have a different direction they want to take new content, I just wanted to make this post to direct attention towards a lot of this unused and scrapped content since Ive seen images about these items making the rounds on Discord and Social Media.
