Uh, don't defensive UVs scale up as you upgrade your armor? That is, a UV shadow medium on a 2* will be a lot smaller than a UV shadow medium on a 5*. However, I'm pretty sure you are right for resists, ASI and CTR. A UV fire medium will look the same on a 2* and 5*.
Resistances and defenses natural to armor improve as you upgrade, UV resistances are fixed at a certain amount.
