UV Maximum Defense stackable ?

In general when you have UVs on your set they add up and are caped to maximum. (IAS for example)

What happens when you have an armor and a helmet with both UV's at maximum defense for elemental for example, do you get more overall elemental defense as if you only had one of them with that maximum UV ?

you'll get both those

you'll get both those UVs
generally, the weapon UVs only go up to level 6 Maximum, while the armour UVs don't really have a cap

weapons only go to 4 very high, this should be moved into the arsenal, while armour go to 6 max, and cant get 5 ultra

supposedly the defence can go past the bars (and still be effective defence)

the bars seem to be a load of crap, theres a good forum thread with a set of tests on fire resist and a little of the other status's, basically showing gear with negative resist worked better than gear with fire resist, while that same negative piece with medium fire UV is more effective than the 2 piece vog set

really i wish they would either make the bars correct and explain to us how the system works (cause it sure doesnt work as it appears it should) or just switch over to numbers or even % Based display...

i find it really rude that they basically lie to us in the information the give and we work with it not havin a clue whats happening, basically a guessing game (where we dont even know if we found the right guess)

also, do trinkets do anything atall? defence? status? the forum thread i spoke of before said that the status trinkets dont work atall while the defence ones seem to be to hard to really test (and with 2x shadow i notice NO Difference with devilits and skellies in T3/FSC, and with 2x pierce trinkets i notice absolutely no difference in attacks from wolvers/chroma/spikes/ect)

makes no sense, so in this case were throwin away 300 CE/Month just to use stuff that doesnt work (while loseing our gems to useless gear and not able to sell materials and atleast get SOME use out of them)

but i guess what they are telling us is to NOT spend the money on the trinket slots
