You can easily get Vanaduke stuck on any of the 4 fountains, making the fight trivial. That is all.

Steps:

1 Get Aggro on Vanaduke
2 Stand behind fountain
3 Pick up water
4 Dodge Vanaduke's attacks while waiting for him to charge
5 Run away and throw water when he is about to charge
6 Once Vanaduke is on the fountain, water will respawn off the fountain, making him stuck for the rest of the phase.
7 Profit

Yes, I know bugging out an already easy encounter is lame and this is why I am posting this to prevent long term abuse.

Darkiboo you seem pretty naive. The best way to ensure a bug stays un-patched it to report it privately and hope for the best. Full public disclosure is always the best policy if you hope to bring about any sort of timely changes.

I'm not sure how true that is.

Back in the early days of Puzzle Pirates, quite a few problems with the game were brought up by me and other players. One of the most notable problems we pointed out was that the skill level of the pirates on a pillage didn't matter as much as the number of pirates on the pillage. Filling our sloop with ultimates would result in difficult fights with about 1k/win, while filling a war brig with able-masters would result in easy fights with 1k/win. The developers flat out told us we were wrong. One of our crew members decided to prove the point and proceeded to actually bankrupt the ocean with a 150 pirate pillage-till-he-passed-out run.

History shows that if you want a game-breaking bug fixed quickly, you make the knowledge public. If a problem remains known to only a small minority, developers tend to drag their feet on fixing it.

Ah... maybe... I liked the pillars.. theres still that one (or two don't remember) but its small and doesn't work as well as the others did while some1 distracted behind pillar while others attacked... Bugging is easier in a way I guess but...

eh, i still manage to get

eh, i still manage to get reamed every time i even attempt to trap him, then randomly he will still charge over the water sometimes.... tho im tryin to do it solo so i have no help with the damn fire when it traps me ect, so much more shadowfire from his attacks you get stuck alot more often if you dont constantly clean it up...really frustrating when you get trapped by shadowfire or the water pillars do.... has circled me in one set of crash downs too...
