NPC sell recipes cheaper than AH?
Im confuse
weird recipe prices?
so basically you buy a recipe in NPC then re-sell it in AH for higher price?
cos i saw the same recipe that you can buy in NPC for 3k cheaper than in AH
are you talking about kozma?
yes some people don't realise and buy the basic npc recipies... and then try and hawk it off at a profit
its called a finders fee normally people go to basil to get the recipes and resell for profit which is usually 500cr to up to and including 18k because they want a profit
the wierd thing is that it works and people will buy them up
Kozma (the quartermaster in the Bazaar and Moorcraft/Emberlight) carries the same recipes all the time. Some people who don't realize this (let's call them "idiots" for the sake of this conversation) and try to resell her recipes in the AH for a profit in case there are similar idiots around.
This is different than recipes from Basil (and, for a lesser extent, Vatel). Basil's recipes change each time you visit him, and so it can take quite a long time to find the one you are looking for. Thus, popular recipes can be bought by one person from Basil and resold in the AH for a profit to those that don't feel like going to Basil over and over (and over and over) again.
Hopefully you are now less confuse.
Finding a recipe is sometimes hard (as it gets into 4* and 5* it gets really hard to find the one recipe to get) so when people see a recipe that is popular you can buy it and then sell it for profit. It is an easy way to gain money but can be risky if you buy a recipe that is not popular.
