Should I wear level 3 equipment?

I've played about 10 days and I'm an auction house seller. I've made quite a lot of profit but recently spent abit on uv items.
Are uv low items worth it?
Anyways, I'm wondering should I start making or buying level 3 equipment to wear. Only reason is to play the boss level.
Is the boss levels worth it?
Because otherwise, I can keep my 2 star equipment. Continue playing tier 2 and leave at the boss. Continue to make money and then make enough money for level 4 equipment.
This will allow me more time to think of what equipment I want and give me more capital to make more money :)
Ideas?

yeah but
Crafting 3* is not as cheap as buying 3* these days. If I buy a cheap 3*, I'm temped to sell it back for profit. I guess it's for the chance to get a uv from crafting and if I craft bought uv items, I might still profit.
But basically profit is hindering me from actually using the equipment. Stupid bound system.
If wearing 3 star equipment will help me get more money from runs, I'll go for it. Anyone can answer me?

what your doing now will be easier to do with stronger gear. That stronger gear as Ten_tacles mentioned will be necessary anyway.
with whatever gear you take, leaving at the boss is still the better choice once you have all the tokens you need, or a primarily focussed on income.
UV items are and arent worth it. You can do the same without it, but it is an extra help. Some items its noticable, others not so.
When it comes to "worth" you just need to ask yourself. Does it help, is it the best or a reliable option, and is it worth it to you. you the one who has to be happy with your choice :-p
Asking around is a good idea, as some items arent worth the cost without monsters or levels that are weak or vulnerable to someone geared in such a fashion, or sometimes theres just too many better options.

For example... if you see a UV brandish of high damage bonus against fiends bidding at 12k.. and having a buy now price of 100k dont be afraid of bidding up to 20k, i just got a brandish with above stats for 17k... freaking daylight robbery since no one wanted to bid higher ; D

So all in all it just means that if your looking for a UV weapon, look for one that suits your style. do you play jelly king often? do you hate constructs? thinking these before buying will mean alot of difference. oh one more thing, remember to check the prices of all weapons of that make and having that UV, sometimes you may just find one going for a cheaper price than what you did think
For 4* equipment you generally need the 3* variants of them...
So making 3* equipment would be a good idea.
