Well, considering the circumstances, I feel compelled to point out your hypocrisy. Pot, have you met Kettle?
I feel like that's a vague reference for most people, so I'll break it down for you into bite-size chunks so you can process it. Wouldn't want you getting sick afterwards - though I'm pretty sure that from what I've heard, you're pretty good at just grasping things that are otherwise hard to swallow.
You're quick to point out that we're incredibly selective with who we take and who we don't, and that's completely fine; you're also quick on the draw in highlighting that we're essentially high-and-mighty about it - hey, we come by it honestly! By the same token, you look down your nose at us as if you're completely excused from any time where you've done the same thing. I could go through and highlight easily a half-dozen posts in that thread alone where you put yourself on a pedestal while at the same time giving backhanded comments to people, all because of some sort of egocentric belief that people should come to you to get you to join their guild. Temporarily. With no obligation whatsoever. Any guild that openly tried to recruit you through that method essentially sold out on what they made the guild for in the first place.
Let's also not forget that multiple times within that thread you openly mention that you don't like repeating yourself in regards to "not wanting to be referred to a guild". The same principle applies here - we're not interested in repeating ourselves to people over and over again about how No App November actually operates. We're also not interested in people who can't fill out the application form correctly, and considering how we have the form readily available to copy and paste into your own post, there's simply no excuse for that.
So case in point, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones - especially in your case, since you seem to have a hard time finding a place you can call home to begin with.
This is for anyone who has a complaint with: a) getting rejected, b) getting told off afterwards, c) my posting specifically, or d) all of the above.
For all future applicants, I would like to introduce you to something.

We been "exclusive" since Beta, and we outlived mostly every guild in this game our recipe for success works for us.
