I'm having this strange problem that only happens when I play spiral knights so I'm assuming it is related to the game in some way. I'll be playing along and my wireless modem disconnects from the internet. Looking at the network connections under the control panel it shows as disabled. When I click to enable it, the dialog box says it is enabled, but it still doesn't work. The only way to fix it is to restart my computer and then everything is fine.

At first it only happened when I had the graphics set to high in the game, and it would happen every time I played probably between 10 and 30 minutes in. I switched the graphics to low and that worked for a few days. Tonight I checked the drivers, checked my version of java (version 6.22), uninstalled the game and then reinstalled. I still had the settings on low resolution and I'd been playing for about an hour and a half when it happened again.

Looking through this forum and the bug reports, I also experience the disco squares, but only at the arcade in Haven (the arcades at Moorcroft Manor and Emberlight display fine) and anywhere there are thorn bushes. Also, all the lichen I've seen are displayed as black. I think all the other monsters I've seen have been colored correctly.

My husband plays on a desktop on the same wireless signal and he doesn't have any problems.

Any suggestions for causes/fixes, or is this just a case of bad computer?
