calibur sucks at damage except for stationary and trapped monster which can't move anywhere.
get all three damage type swords, element, shadow and piercing.
Ask a Master Swordsman Anything.
A Levi makes a good weapon for gunners/bombers who want a side of sword.
For pure swordsmen, not so much.
Nightblade, Fireburst Brandish/Avenger, Swift Flourish/Twisted Snarble Barb
those are some decent suggestions for a combo of all three damage types
there, now go get started.
Also I don't see what you have against dark rituals. Are you Kat-ist?
Alpha-Fighter, if you wish to follow Poopsie's good advice to get piercing, elemental, and/or shadow swords, but you don't know which ones, then you might find my detailed sword guide valuable.
Hello everyone can you tell me which sword is better for a swordie?
-flamberg
-rigadoon
-tempered calibur(currently equipped and maxed to lvl 10)
-swift flourish
-nightblade
Thanks:D
You already asked exactly the same question here, and you got an answer. Just continue in that thread.
alright, questions. what is the best all around 3* sword? i mean like 1 that is good enough at any 3* level.
PS, i go crazy when I'm on levels.
@Chesbrgr There isn't one definite choice for that. Why? Well the best all-rounder weapons are by default inferior to specialized weapons. So if you have a weapon that can handle every situation, it will only do adequate in said situations. It's better than nothing, but it will be outclasses by any other weapon designed for said situation.
The closest you'll get is maybe a 3* Calibur.
I want to ask u a question:
Is LB a good wep? Does it works better than Combuster to enemies that in the corner(with charges)?
Btw my ctr and damage is max.
I don't own a Levi myself, but most of my friends who have made one say that they love the sword, but are disappointed by it's damage.
It's damage is subpar compared to other, specialized, swords. However the Levi's charge is debatably one of the best of the game (At least the mechanics of it).
Purrifier, Levi's regular attacks are mediocre, but its charge attack is pretty powerful, even compared to specialized swords. In that sense, the point of Levi is the charge attack, and CTR+6 and DAM+6 is exactly what you want on it. In theory you can do about 1100 (or more, with your DAM+6) damage to a stationary or cornered monster, by landing all three hits.
Whether Levi is actually a good sword depends on how often you can actually manage these dramatic three-hit charges. The high knockback greatly reduces your opportunities for landing all three hits, and of course greatly irritates your teammates. And Fang of Vog is the same idea, with much higher damage numbers.
Personally: I usually play with swords, I occasionally use my FoV, and I never use my Levi.
