What does a mist tank (included in the starters pack) actually do? Is it a permanent item?

Ah, but if your mist tank is empty, being able to refill it and drain it again is as good as having an extra 100 crystal energy. The mist tank lets you cherry-pick a time when you have no energy and could use 100 energy promptly, so you get just as much use out of it as 100 CE, though it is somewhat less convenient.

Mist energy is worth exactly
Mist energy is worth exactly the same amount as crystal. Mist tanks are extremely nice.
If you think otherwise, you're a fool.
It replenishes you mist energy once.
