If you grab enough upgrades they turn into a five star bomb.
It counts for the stellar set achievement.
I'm not a bomber, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Also, if you play enough times, you get the achievements for having 5 and 10 bombs. My wife is not a bomber, so never had those. After the first time she played, she got the Stellar Set and the 5-bomb achievement. After a few more times, she got the 10-bomb achievement.
