Nah, they just though bombing gunpuppies was to easy, and so they tried to make it harder so us demo experts would suffer.

Lol gun puppys are still not that hard tho, come with elemental sword read it's attack and move in during the break if it sees you, tho rocket puppys are annoying if you don't get the jump on them.
It made arenas so easy, stay behind them and you can slowly pick them off. I think it was a nessesary change, but i will miss ignoring the 8 puppys in the 3rd room.
