Do yourself a favor and keep the shield. It's worth a lot more than what Bigfoot's offering, you could easily fetch a ton of CE for that based on how rare it is. But you said yourself you tend to keep things that are rare, and it's not like it cost you anything except a Vanaduke run to get it.

Well, as awesome as it is to have one, if someone offered you a ridiculous amount for it (I guess upwards of 100k CE), I would seriously consider selling it, because - as has been pointed out - it wouldn't be surprising if OOO made it a regular in game item in future (like the crest), making the value of it precisely very little.

I'd suggest you sell it now before OOO decides to make it a public release--it's only a matter of time, so put it up in the forums. It's EASILY gonna fetch you several tens of thousands of CE, and it's gonna do you no favors when you've got it collecting dust in your inventory.

Sell the shield. Soon enough blizzard will make it a token item from a new boss. Sell sell sell. Get what ya can while ya can. Besides, it's not like the sweet quicksilver helm used to be (i.e. u can't do costume shields).
My opinion, sell it for massive amount of ce and smile in a month from now when u can get a new for tokens :)
