People have been saying the over saturation of certain minerals has made the gates repeat the same few types of monsters, making the clockworks repetitive and making some monsters and their drops obscenely hard to find.
I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but would it be possible to implement a method of mineral patch spawning that makes them spawn in an inverse proportion to how many of each color was used in the construction of the gate? That way, it is less likely for the same areas to pop up in every gate made.
