I came up with a few ideas for weapons, the title might make sense in a few seconds when you read them. All names given are WIP/ chosen to make the weapon concept clearer.
Idea #1: &$@#ing Magnet
HOW DOES IT WORK? It's actually not a very good weapon for causing damage, you should probably NEVER go with this weapon alone- it COULD probably save your bacon in some cases though, because what it DOES is it produces a knockback way out of proportion to the damage it actually causes, and it even pushes enemies that are close enough but . It can stop you from getting cornered, and it can provide you a path for escape if you're surrounded.
And since it's magnet themed it can perform better on shock enemies, constructs, or in shock-themed levels, possibly.
Idea #2: Iron Poker
It's a Flourish, but it stinks! Or does it? Here's it's schtick- it changes the type of damage it does and the status conditions it inflicts on the basis of how or where you use it!
- did you stick it in a burning oiler or stand on a Fire trap or in a blast cube, or is the level fire-themed? It's now burning hot and ready to do Fire damage
- did you stab a Poison-themed enemy? It's now dipped in Poison.
- did you stab a Construct of any kind, or a quicksilver? Shock damage!
Idea #3: Oil gun
The name gives it up. It's an Oil gun. It shoots sticky oil that screws up enemy movement a little. The trick here is that you can make the oil ignite.
the basic principle is that if you know how to use your head and you have at least one good weapon already to back these up with, these are really good weapons and can make your game far more interesting. If you don't have a lot of good weapons and you're a moron, these weapons suck and should be removed because theyre STUPID!!!11one!!1cos(0) and weak.
