New status condition - confusion

SO im sure this has been touched upon before but i wanted to bring my 2 cents to the tabel anyway,

The idea is to introduce a new status condition that will change gameplay a little, confusion (or any such similar name)

now im not sure if OOO would think of implementing this as it would require different effects for knights and mosnters
-knights
confusion would act as it does in infinite undiscovery (and probably many other action rpgs) the button config is scrambled for the duration of the status, whether that means randomly assigned, a set scramble or simply reveresed (so up becomes down and shield becomes attack, mouse movement is inverted)
vials would not be effceted by the confusion though, this allows people to still use a status pill and (more importantly) not waste their precious vials and health capsules

-monsters
confusion could act in one of two ways,
A) traditional turn based confusion style, the monster attacks the closest/random object, whether it be a fellow monster(and the can deal low damage), a knight or possibly any other object
B) alterntively it could act simply to make the monster wander/ rotate in random directions - attacking at random or not at all

now i know we already have sleep to be reintroduced, but this is a plausible candidate to replace sleep or become a new status condition
if sleep is returning great, otherwise wouldnt having something else replace it make sense, make jelly armour useful again
