So here's the story: I just started to play spiral knights and i manage to get into tier 2 of the clockworks pretty smoothly, but now im encountering various problems. I remember that the spiral warden said that i needed at least 2* everything to go on to tier 2. So right now i have all cobalt stuff. Cobalt helm, armor, the defender, the caliber, and the voltech alchemer. I know that's not enough to get past tier 2 and im at the bare minimum requirements to only GET to the BEGINNING of tier 2.

So now i thought if i had more powerful weapons i may have a chance to clear tier 2 and get some bosses along the way.

But the thing is, the weapons are a bit to expensive to my tastes and the CE price right now is over the roof just to get 100CE (over 6600 crowns).
And i also know that any recipe item higher than a 2* requires more than just the 100 mist energy to alchemize a recipe.

i need help major help! Right now im stuck with 2* equipment.

P.S. if anyone sees this message, please give some low offers to the CE market so the price will lower down. THANKS :)

A entire tier two run gives you enough for getting 100 ce. Instead of always spending your money, save up crowns. You can not demand players to lower the ce prices. Your reputation will make you a noob who cannot get 3* items because you are whining about the cost of ce for crafting it.

If you cant hack it in Tier 2

If you cant hack it in Tier 2 (no insult I remember getting my arse handed to me at first) then grind T1 until you are better & save up for better gear.

Focus on not taking damage in T1, practice good shield work, & even more important practice dodging damage altogether.

Pick the T1 gate that has the most Arenas in it (shield icons), always check your "Gate Map" (cog icon in upper left -> Gate Map) before stepping onto an elevator so you can time your decent to hit the Arena maps. Always play through all three arenas (step on big party buttons) instead of quieting the map early. Never pass up a Danger Room (gate that you pay 3 energy to open for a good fight & better booty). Only play on your mist. Don't use energy to revive more then a couple times or its too expensive and not worth it. If you do not have time to play SK on a given night, sign on for a few minutes and use that mist energy to craft 2x 2* items which you can then sell at the auction house (or better yet buy some CE and craft a 3* item to sell). Read the Wiki. Pick the 5* gear you want to end up with and work toward it. Did I mention read the wiki?
