I like how no one gets that these ones will also be rare and expensive because the promotion doesn't last forever. You may be able to get them now, but the day after the promotion ends, I guarantee there will be price hikes.

You don't understand. Yes, the price will go up. But the reason the original regalia items are more expensive, is because there were a lot less people then, and therefore a lot less regalia items. And the older ones will always be more expensive, since costumes can't be unbound. So as the rarity of the newer items increases, so will the rarity of the older items.
