So all recipes say that they bind on acquired.
But I can still trade my recipes, and my friend got an acheron recipe yesterday and is still allowed to trade it to me.

So what recipes are tradeable or if it's easier what recipes are not?

I know the ones you get from Krogmo tokens are not suppose to be tradeable.

**EDIT**
Just wanted to clarify now that it seems that all 4* and 5* recipes say bind on acquired but it seems that's not the case when it comes to trying to trade them. But it would be nice to know if that's going to change before cause that would affect my ability to ask friends to get me recipes

Most recipes do not bind on

Most recipes do not bind on aquisition, which is why you can find so many on the auction house for just slightly above their original price. Special recipes (and any other item) purchased with tokens bind to your character, though. If you get any recipe from the clockworks, you can trade it/sell it.

Which recipes say that? I haven't checked basil, but the recipe seller in the haven bazaar didn't say anything about that, just bind on use. To the best of my knowledge, the recipes from the PvP token trader in the haven arcade are all bind on acquire, as explained above

all of my recipes currently

all of my recipes currently say "this item will bind when acquired" or something like that
this includes:
Volcanic plate shield
Boosted plate shield
Volcanic demo helm

my friend just traded his acheron to an alt and back and it says the same thing

I just want to make sure that if i ask a friend to buy a recipe for me that i'm not making him waste 25k just to find out he can't trade it to me.

if you are using a bound item

if you are using a bound item to craft, then the resulting item will be bound at it's virgin (0 heat) stage

@monkeyman well they don't so

@monkeyman

@azul
you really should read a thread before posting in it.
I never EVER stated anything about crafting items...

But that's exactly what the

But that's exactly what the bind on aquired phrase means, here.

The recipe itself doesn't bind - it's just referencing the fact that it's impossible to craft the item unbound. The exception is recipes bought with tokens, in which case the recipe itself is bound as well.

Actually that is false

Actually that is false Dingle, you can still craft the item even if the predessor is unbound. Now for the recipes, I think it's supposed to mean "The resulting item will bind once crafted," or what it is supposed to mean actually. Only Krogmo Coin prize recipes have been known to bind once obtained. So that must be something they were going to implement, or that part of info they forgot to remove.

To craft a 4* or 5* item the

To craft a 4* or 5* item the equipment used has to be level 5 or level 10 respectively... meaning it is bound to you. Hence the item created will be bound to you also.

As for recipes, the only ones that bind upon acquiring are the ones gotten with Krogmo Coins. All non-material items are bound upon receiving from a token trader, so it's not surprising.

"This item will bind to you

"This item will bind to you when equipped/acquired." is listed under the item description box, not the recipe.
What it says in-game is correct though the layout could use some changes if people are actually getting confused about this.
