Seriously guys. That gate looks horrible. It looks like it was nothing but an autosell gate. Did anyone stack it that way? I mean, it's an FSC gate. I'm surprised it's all over the place like that.
Emerald Clover is a junk gate.
I like it!
......the commentary that is :D
Maybe you (and me? maybe?) should give a rank out of 5 stars (or vitapods to keep it in theme), and maybe some pros and cons of the gate.
Of course I leave this idea in your hands, since you have started this gate commentary thingo
That would give too much credence to the post. I'm just mouthy, not informative.
I have been doing T3 Basil runs for the past... 2 weeks. Recently it has been farming the gate with a beast stratum 5. Boy, I loved those materials. I got around 25 drake scales from it so far.
Freeze s5? I solo, so I hate freeze, but at least it's a damage type. I can wait the elevator to my preferred level and go with it. Might find some use.
Nothing much else to say. It's T2 is worse than spectacular but better than mediocre.
I hear ya on the T3 beast level. A mix of skolver and demo, along with a barb shield and a thorn, and it's pretty cake. Whatever I can't kill with sword, I light on fire with a bomb and run around until they're dead.
It's like getting the gift of a T3 jelly set with Aurora Isles in it. O lawdy I love those. There's nothing funnier than Jelly Farm runs, popping all the Jellies at once and doing a Benny Hill impression with an AoA.
It's the snarbo gate.
Oh yeah thank god it's also AFTER Basil, because if it were before Basil... I would cry.
...but to get to that, we'd have to go through a guaranteed "Devilish Drudgery: Everyone's Fired" floor.
The gate seeders are making as much fiend as they can, so I guess it's time to finally suck it up and get Divine. Between that and shock...man, I hate shock.
Flourish/Snarby or DBB makes quick work of Devilites. And Shadow resist armor and shield can help also. Pretend you're a boyscout and be prepared.

My primary problem with Devilites (and Greavers, actually) isn't that they're hard to dodge (sometimes they are), but that they can "stagger" their attacks, leaving you without an opening, plinking away until your shield dies. The other monster types have cooldown periods / animations to avoid that.
Wolver Laugh, Gremlin Dodge, Mechaknight Spark, etc.
This is also what makes T2-3 Polyps infuriating in arena levels. (Gun puppies to a lesser extent)
@Rig:
Devilites trip somtimes. :D
Greavers... no breaks on those. Unless you treat the period where they stand still for a while (like Kats) as the break...
In general:
"DD: Everyone's Fired" and "Blast Furnace: Infernal Path" are probably the worst kind of Fiend levels because even "prepared" Skelly-wearing people are totally screwed if they run out of blue pills...
ugh yea, I hear ya on that. It's those two gates that stop me every time for some reason. Unless you're already set for FSC, they eat you alive. Being cautious is even worse, because it gives the bosses time to make the Devilites into Overtimers.....which are horrid little boogers. I have had some luck using the stupid-random explosions of the radiant sun shard though...keeps them jumping and dodging, so less throwing stuff at me.
and yes, I think this'll be a regular Tengutengu segment. Gate commentary.
