Ugh, Am I the only one who finds these things seriously creepy? Also, any tactics for evading them? I noticed they're immune to damage, are there any sorts of assualts that work on them, also hey to all my friends on spiral knights!

The shield bumping doesn't
The shield bumping doesn't always work. I'm the one that originally posted it I think. Only try bumping it if it literally spawns right under you.

If you can't evade them
If you can't evade them chances are better not try something as risky as shield bump it as you can accidentally bump it in front of your path.

Dude they're almost as slow
Dude they're almost as slow as lumbers. Unless you get cornered, they're rarely a problem. Also the update post did in fact mention they are totally invulnerable to any damage, and are not stopped by shields.

I personally avoid the CSK
I personally avoid the CSK because of them. I dislike the maps, and it's easier to just not go through them.

I certainly think it would be fun if you could fight them like the red ghost things in the graveyards.
Stick to the light. That's about it! I've heard you can shield-bump them when they're rising out of the ground, but I haven't tested it.
