This was when gold chaps were worth 7500 ce and gold tabards were worth 5k ce
Do the math.
20k ce
12k ce for a gold set
10k ce for a blue set
9k ce for a green set
And this offer was thrown at me for me to consider, not like something that would for sure seal the deal.
These are worth over 60k ce at least.
Mine aren't being sold for less than 100k.

@ Subversion: I was buying them for 1k ce in the first few hours, and I bought a few at that price, soon the price rose because of the natural effect of supply and demand and I started buying them for more than 1k ce, they hit a celing of 7500 ce before they started to drop.
You aren't a very good merchant if you were asleep at the wheel during this time. I made around 200k ce in those few days riding the supply and demand curves and now I have a nice 600k+ ce pile of rose regalia investment when I started with less than 100k ce at the start of the event.

So selling something for significantly more than it's worth will still ring as scamming someone who doesn't know any better. Other words that may apply, cheating, bamboozling, and hornswoggling.

I'd say you can probably expect to get one for about 40-45k CE max. Just be willing to wait for the right deal. : )
