Lockdown Tips

I have no doubt that the tips offered here could later become obsolete after the game has been tweaked. Still, lets share some of the things we have learned through experience and observation in Lockdown.
---
Knights in full Skolver (like myself) have much to fear from those pesky piercing weapons. But if you've got the tokens, you can always invest in a Royal Jelly Band with Jelly Tokens. I'm using Rock Jelly Band because I'm cheap. You'll find it a worthy investment that will save your life numerous times.
---
If you're using one of the Brandish weapons, I highly recommend keeping it charged when both capping a base and defending on. Keep a sharp eye out and you'll be able to deal with those annoying strikers that like to dash in out of nowhere and two shot you with a Faust. With a maxed out Combuster, you can give almost anyone a one shot death that will make them think twice next time they wanna bum rush you.
---
I cannot say how many times I have happened upon a battle for a node, but didn't see a single person actually fighting on top of it. Even though I usually always run striker, 6/10 times I am able to just stand on the node and cap it. COMPLETELY UNCONTESTED IN SPITE OF THE BATTLE TAKING PLACE 1 FOOT AWAY!!!
Take note. Pay attention to your nodes people.

This is a personal preference, but I like to run a Combuster and Freezing Alchemer combo. In fact, I recommend that all players run at least one gun in their arsenal. The reason I prefer the Freezing Alchemer is because if it hits and procs a freeze, it's insta win in 1v1. Freeze, switch to Combuster, charge, get behind the poor soul, block his cries for mercy from your mind, and administer the final hit. And if you don't think you have time to charge, chances are the fellow was already weakened through an exchange between either you or someone else earlier. A 2 hit combo or even a single slash might be enough to get the job done. And with me in full Skolver, it usually does.

I'm offended :'(
Lockdown tips: Don't walk into haze spammers like an idiot >.> (unless they're me, please do, I like keeping you close to me <3)

Have fun! If you're not having fun, do something else instead. Don't yell at your team. It's just a game. Offer them advice if they really need it or simply wait for the next match. And don't click "Play again" if you didn't enjoy playing with those folks the first time.
If you're not all decked out in 5 star gear, try tier 1 or 2. It's basically free (T1) or only costs a few hundred CE (T2) for all the gear you'd want.
Never leave a match. Everyone is a winner in Lockdown!
If you're losing a match 400-300 or 800-700, and the map is covered in enemy territory, try to deny points instead of capturing. Set them back to neutral (for now) and move on to the next. If you try to capture them all before advancing it'll take enough time for them to win, even if their entire team is dead.

Royal jelly bands are bought with primal sparks, not jelly tokens.
And people in skolver gear have less to fear about piercing weapons than anyone else - you do know how defence works, right? In any case, most players carry a sword that can 1-3 shot kill anyone. It's not all about weapons and gears and it's laughable that you're giving loadout advice as "lockdown tips". Someone posted a thread with actual strategy tips which is proper advice.
It's like FSC. You can get the cookie cutter loadout, but if you sucked before, you'll suck after. Skill > gear.

@ Negimasonic: I just wish more people knew that obvious "tip".

Here are some of the main strategies I see, and what I named them.
Commando Force- You know, the 2 or 3 die-hards that charge to every point to capture it. generally two Strikers and a Guardian, the winning Commando combo. Recons are good too, but only generally in a bigger group. You know, two or three go down, and all of a sudden here come the Recons. This is an important role though, and should not be taken lightly.
Taunter- Yeah that annoying Striker that you just want to shove your sword through his/her chest. Possibly more. Or even Recons, but your gonna want to be fast for this job.
Silk Shield- Like a Silkwing, but Knight version.
Spookat- My favourite role, I play it all the time. Recon only job. Capture a CP, and stay there a while, killing any lone enemy that dares to try and capture it, while staying hidden. If you think you can take more than one, well great for you! Try and stay near the locker room though, so you can run back to heal, when you're in over your head.
Tips
Get an elemental damaging gun. Trust me, i've paid dearly for not doing it.
Try for a shadow damge sword, or stay with the Calibur line. Don't have to go Leviathian though.
When the battle is being fought for one CP, go far away! Do you know how many CPs you can steal like this?
Gunners vs. Bombers. Stay out of range, and gunners win every time.
Recon vs. Striker- Whoever has the better strategy wins. Edge to Recon.
Recon vs. Guardian- Unless you can break the shield, that Guardian's probably gonna win.
Guardian vs. Striker- the Striker's just too fast, that battle probably won't take place. Edge to noone.
Ultimate Player?- For me, it's the Recon, you cna disappear, and appear with that Nightblade and slash! Your enemy's down.

Be sure to die a lot when facing Jim Dale.

don't bother trying to use a health capsule if a rock jelly drops it. you can't use it.

Here's a tip and very cheap.get an avenger or faust.Faust works better.first don't do LD at all and spam JK.work for a week for the Faust recipe and the ce.don't forget the sealed sword.try to use the minimum of energy for your JK runs.buy 300 ce.learn Faust recipe.wait for tomorrow.and ta da your faust.
And btw get the mats before you craft it.
Only for tier 3 LD players if you want a pawnage sword.
If you are a real serous LD player then get gran faust.though I recommend upgrade your armor than Faust.

Are you serious? Some of these tips are just...not that good
Kwizzy, Negima, and Evilduck are some of the posts that I'd like to point out (# 2,3,4)
Yeah follow their rules and you got basic tips.
This is just mediocre at best.

Know your limitations. A Recon might be able to take out multiple people on a CP since they can go invisible, a Striker is a lot less likely to be able to unless you're really dang good (and btw... most people AREN'T!).
Never assume you are going to kill somebody by hitting with a full combo, it's a good way to end up dead if they don't die. And if you're squishy, like a Striker is, you will probably kiss the grass for that mistake.
Guardian shields break to a full DA/GF combo, or 3 single hits... assuming there's only one Guardian shielding. You WILL get hit if you pull it off, decide if its worth the hit before you start.
If your opponent is a Guardian do not drop a dang status bomb! They raise their shield, enter the haze, and they're effectively immortal.
Recons can go invisible, most don't use this to their advantage and are predictable. Hit where you'd be if you were a Recon and you'll probably smack them in the face. You wouldn't believe how many people I kill that way that go at the end of the match "how did you always know where i was?!". You were predictable, which means, to quote a favorite book series of mine, you're a dead witch walking.
Approach CPs from the bottom if possible, especially if you're a Striker. You can see who, if anybody, is on the point without them seeing you. Use it to your advantage. If you're a striker wait the 3 seconds to let your dash recharge.

I know i'm not the first person to notice this, but if there are people in your game on the opposing team holding a Sealed Sword/Faust/Avenger (Most commonly Faust/Gran Faust), you are pretty much guarenteed to die and then lose if you don't know what you are doing. however, there are ways to deal with this.
First off, if you are using the Striker class, it is a good idea to boost away from the enemy knight. If they are camping a point, don't attempt to capture it, just boost past (taking care to not get close enough for an unlucky hit) and find another point to capture. Even large groups of Strikers can't surivive more than a couple of seconds against a sword of that strength.
If you happen to prefer the Defender class, Keep FAR FAR away from the enemy knight, even when shielded, a faust/gran faust can break through and kill you in less than a couple seconds, try to stay back and support your teammates capturing other objectives.
If you are using the Recon class, you may be able to attempt a caputre. The important thing to remember is that you must not allow your presence to be discovered, keep your distance, for a wildly swung sealed sword can ruin your day. It might be good to coordinate with your team to distract the knight user while you capture.
Below are other ways to beat a Sealed Sword series user regardless of class:
-If you have a Freezing Atomizer or better, you can freeze the Sealed Sword user in place by spamming the bomb. This will allow you to either caputre the point, or get behind them in an attempt to kill them.
-Having a handgun that you can walk with while firing can be a huge help, just remember to not fire so many shots that the knight can catch up to you and end you.
-If you have a Sealed Sword series sword, go ahead and use it, no shame in spamming something that powerful if somebody else is using it first.
-Graviton/Electron Bombs, place these down and hope that only the Sealed Sword user is the only one who gets sucked in. Placed near map hazards, these have a good chance of sending anybody into a shock plate or spike floor.
I hope this helps, because Sealed Sword users are the only knights i used to have trouble beating.

Right so, I'm no expert at Lockdown but I'll chip in my share of what I've learned.
First and foremost, (from what I've gathered) if you're in Europe or fairly far away from North America chances are you'll be experiencing a good second or more of lag because - correct me if I'm wrong but - Three ring's Servers are based in NA, which means you'll have to learn to act a second earlier so that your actions are as intended rather than a second late. This can take some getting used to, I can't say how many times I've swung too early to counter the lag or got caught up in the heat of battle and forgotten about the lag making me a second too late.
Striker: I play Striker 99.9% of the time because I find it the most fun, I can't stand playing the other classes because (imo) Guardians are cheap and recon is ridiculously buffed, both of which I find no interest in playing anyway. Most people play the Striker class really... badly, as for myself, I know what to do to a certain extent, but I'm not what people would call a "skilled" player by a long shot.
I assume a lot of people would use the Striker's booster to get close to an enemy to try and hit them and kill them which is essentially what your aim is when trying to out-play your opponent(s), however, I've found that if I use the Striker's booster to create an unorthadox/unpredictable style of play I can easily confuse and "catch-out" the opposition making the kill so much easier rather than a back and forth "to-me-to-you" feeling which usually ends up with the player who attacked first winning the battle. What I mean by this is, not boosting in guns (or swords in this case) blazing trying to spam whatever weapon you have selected. Try to use your booster not to boost IN to your enemy, but more-so use it to gain a positional advantage over your enemy so that they have a harder time trying to hit you, you want to be the one alive and capping, and not the one sitting at the respawn screen wondering why you just tripped over a pile of your own health bars.
Recon: As Gwen said, the predictability of recon players is ridiculous, you have to think outside of the box when playing and trying to break a recon out of stealth/invisibility. Also, don't bet on spamming your gun to break the recon out of stealth unless of course you're rocking the Gunslinger series and you know for sure where he/she is because by the time you come to your first reload the recon can use that time to shove his weapon up your ***.
Guardian: I don't know what to say about Guardians really, I don't play Guardians or Recon that much, I just find that when someone is playing a guardian class, I break their shield with whatever gun I may have equipped and then take the remaining health with a full-combo from my GF or Dark Thorn Blade (if I can risk it) or manoeuvre around my enemy trying not to get hit if a full-combo isn't an option.
As I see it resistances are up the sh*tter, I've been 2 hitted by FF and BTB in Full Skolver and been able to 2 and in some cases one shot people in Seraphic/Fallen Armour in some cases. I don't know what's going on there to be quite honest.
Well, that just about sums up what I could think of for Lockdown tips, if I got anything wrong, don't hesitate to correct me. And as I say, I'm no Lockdown expert so I'm sorry if these tips are completely useless to you. .____.

I just found a way for an offensive in the flourish lines: I simply charge up my flourish and charge at the enemy(It's kinda hard to aim, but it's awesome).
I find it as an awesome way to initiate. I go guardian with this type of build so don't try this if you're a striker or a recon.
im pretty usless but i do have a few tips
1: if your recon and have a very powerful sword sneak up behind some unsuspecting victim and attack from behind how to do this is get behind attack as quick as possible then hide again do this until the enemys is dead job done but this doesnt work if there are big numbers of enemys .
2:with guardian attack like a clever person would with monsters:attack shield attack and so on it works cause this shield is built for high strenth so you've got a chance unless against a guy with something from sealed sword series .
3:with striker i think the best idea is dash up to a opponent then confuse by going in circles around while shooting at or bombing the enemy/s

Another tip I forgot to mention. Turn your game sound on. Music isn't required at all, but turning the sound on will help you to hear things that might be out of sight. A recon going into stealth mode for instance. A battle taking place just out of your view.
I believe that using both sight and sound helps your brain to recognize and react to situations faster. Give it a try and you may be surprised.
Lockdown Tips: Don't haze spam like a idiot.
