Having done some testing in the training hall I have raised some questions about autogun lines damage, and perhaps come to some conclusions.
Bearing in mind that this strike needle isnt leveled yet, I only hypothisize.
No ID 8
+1 Trueshot (low 4*)9
+2 Trueshot (med 2x4*) 9
+2 TS & shadowsun slicker (Hi+dmg)9
As I havent had the chance to test setups on weak to, or neutral damage yet I can only hope and ask..does this bonus work on a sliding scale? As in if I am hitting an enemy in T2 thats weak to piercing for 47 per single round, hypotheticaly each level of this +low should be adding a larger chunk of damage like +3+6+9 like on a percentile basis so to speak?
Another concern would be with the lower numbers that the regular shot puts out, are there certain deadzones of deminishing return with this weapon as we stack our + damage stats where it would be better to go ASI for the time being until a larger increase can be made in one fell swoop? And also it would be valuable to know so that one diddnt sit in that certain bracket of +ID unknowingly, effectivly waisting a slot.
I'm going to test all four levels of +ID on some T3 Basil runs shortly and look at bonus damage on regular shots and start compiling some info.
Edit- NVM Awensered my own question, Mega Mag is showing a better spread because of the charge attacks higher numbers to it must be on percentile basis.
