I'm not at this point, just yet, but I may be, soon enough. I'm a Tier 2 player, working on completing a Tier 3 (4*) equipment set. Let us say that all I need is a 4* Bomb to become a Tier 3 player. Could a friend of mine who has Tier 3 equips, lend me a 4* or 5* Bomb, to gain Tier 3 clearance? I'm fairly sure I will get a yes on this part, but I'm not finished. Let's say after gaining Tier 3 access, you return the Bomb to the friend who lends it to you... Will you still have Tier 3 clearance, or will you be demoted back to only having Tier 2 clearance?

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this.

basically you are "trading"

basically you are "trading" an item So yes you will get clearance to tier 3 and even if you give back the bomb to your friend you will still be T3 player. the only thing its that if your friend already have equipped the item he need Unbind it first in the bazaar with those gremlins (i dont remember the name of the one who unbind fused items) but unbind item its expensive (i think unbind item 4* cost 1800 and 5* cost 4000 of Ce) but yeah you are right.

Well in that case, I should

Well in that case, I should just ask for a CE loan to craft my own 4* Bomb, in this example. The unbinding process would be far too complicated. Not to mention a waste of a lot of energy.

Thank you for the feedback.

doesn't the item need to be equipped?

To gain Tier 3 access, don't you need to have the 4-star stuff equipped? So your friend unbinds it, trades it to you, you equip it, you get clearance, you unbind it, and trade it back? So this scheme would require two unbindings, for a total cost of 3600 CE? Yikes.

Yeah, you need it to be

Yeah, you need it to be equipped. You're better off making your own 4* bomb.

I highly suggest against

I highly suggest against shortcutting through this method, as people who have upper-tier clearance can just invite you deeper anyway, since invites don't have any tier-clearance restrictions.

Additionally, unless you party with people already familiar with those depths, being under equipped and unfamiliar in tiers you normally don't have access to is an easy way to waste your energy by dying too frequently.
