sorry but that's just quoting your words, and it definitely implies that you're thinking you're the best. I'll tell you what: skills are highly spoilt by factors such as lag, and you, Chris, don't have any serious issue with it. I find it exagurated to say such things when besides of that countless players are crippled by their bad connection to the server, sometimes because they just live far, like I do or just by a weak internet connection. I can never play at full potential because I keep getting the annoying pull-drag-pull-drag by an invisible arm glitches, the range glitches, the lag freezes (party time, mobs run out of the map, through walls), and it seems I'll never be able to be until OOO finally decides to put some means on a new server, let's say for example, in the continent where you could find some spanish, french and german people, that would correspond to the 3 other languages the game was translated in. And actually when I see a video of someone performing a feat, the first thing I'll pay attention to is the signal..i imagine someone with a 4 bars signal doesn't have to deal with the troubles many of us have, and it certainly doesn't feel so amazing anymore to me.
Otherwise, you've played very long so of course that gives you knowledge, skills. But let's not start saying that makes you better than any of the other "top players" which are yet to be found btw; some learn faster, some player harder too (lol what if some crazy guy kept playing 20 hours a day the last 2 monthes?)!

My first time soloing vanaduke using the advice of one really good players, wrs-something, resulted I haven't died once and needed 2 pills only. Never posted a video about that, but maybe I should have! I mean, according to your standards, its so easy to be pro in this game! Just solo vanaduke! I don't want to disappoint you or make you feel less unique all of a sudden, but hundreds of players already succeeded doing that for sure.

I don't need proper spelling and grammar to point out a child when I see one. Children can do that. Chris is either a magnificent troll or deluded. He's not as great as he thinks he is and he's blatantly skipping over the posts of everyone providing proof of that.

now we all should takes a lesson from these event folks, i'm talking to all of you who's comment and follow this thread from the beginning, this golden rules is indeed true, and we already see the result it created. let us not make this kind of mistakes in the future whether it's in game or in real life.

Chris, you're a good man, you've been doing a lot of hard work to finally have skills of that level, maybe you've made some mistakes in putting your word and comment in which caused some people to angry, maybe you don't really mean that, and maybe your pride prevent you from going back step again. perhaps, it's also doesn't let you to admit the mistakes that you already do and maybe you did already realized it yourself. that's normal. Having pride is good, but remember we must be the one that control our pride, not controlled by our pride.

just a reminder, sometimes going back-step is not a shameful thing to do, but considered a honored act by others. it's not an easy thing to do, that's why a lot of people will honor that act.

i suppose all of us are playing game online because we want to play together right? interact to each other, not to hate each other. otherwise, we'd better be just playing some ps2 / ps3 game offline alone in our room.

I'm not sure why you think this is so impressive Chris? It's not hard to solo Vanaduke when you have 5 bars. Try doing it with 1 bar like everyone outside of the US.

This game is pretty simple. You can only be so good.

EDIT: Rommil's post #89 sums up what is skill in Spiral Knights. It doesn't really exist.

I am seeing this is a very strange way.
Chris seems to have a superiority complex because he believes (key word: believes) he is the best player in the game because he can do something many other people can do.
Yet, on the other hand, he seems to have an inferiority complex because he must always insult the members of Guild, people from other top guilds and everyone in general, most likely because he feels threatened.

Anyways full of ironies, paradoxes and hypocrisies aren't you Chris?
