I wanted to see if the length of the run has any influence on the wheel prize. Therefore I made a full run (0-29) and a Tier3 random run, and listed the prizes.
The number represents the current level. Terminal levels are empty, because you don't get to spin the wheel in those. This was done in the current Vana gate (Oct 11th, 2011). This is just a heads-up so others don't need to do the same experiment to find out about it.
Here are the results for the full run:
1. 5cr
2. Small heart
3. 10cr
5. 5cr
6. 10cr
7. 10cr
9. Small heart
10. Sharp Fang
11. 5cr
12. 10cr
14. 5cr
15. 25cr
16. 5cr
17. 25cr
19. Big Heart
20. Brimstone
21. 25cr
22. 25cr
24. 25cr
25. Nightshade
26. Light Shard
27. 25cr
28. Super Sleep Vial (Oh come on !! Like I'm gonna need it in the last terminal...)
And this is from random joining the Tier3 of the same Vana gate:
22: Big Heart (Gee, thanks. Just the thing I needed before going to mid-terminal.)
24: 10cr
25: Remedy
26: 25cr
27: 10cr
28: 25cr
Conclusion: The length of the run has practically no influence on the wheel prize, only the depth has. And if someone paid attention, you'll see that I didn't get a single box. Full run from 0 to 29. Furthermore, I've NEVER gotten a box yet. Are they really that rare, or am I just so unlucky?
Disclaimer: Yes, I know one instance doesn't make statistically very viable proof. But it does make you wonder... Furthermore, I don't know how "common" this knowledge is, so sorry if it was already obvious.
i got a box on my first spin on depth 1.and i put it in a lottery that cost 50 cr to enter......................so i pretty much gave it to somebody for 50cr.(yes i know this doesnt have anything to do with that but im bored and i cant play the game at the library): (
