Okay guys, how do you think we can recreate the sort of massive player influx SK's Steam launch had?

Or at the very least, get enough new paying blood in a short enough amount of time that the CE market takes a massive boot to the head?

I can't think of anything save to mention SK to every new person you meet or to post about it on whatever blags, soshul netporks, fourums, chaats, or to talk about it to *gasp* people in real life.

We need this, or something close to it. Because more paying players means an influx of new CE means existing CE robber-barons get temporarily set back (and possibly the more temperamental ones might even ragequit), means F2Pers get a better CE rate.

I don't know, what do you think?

the only way I can think of

the only way I can think of to bring more players like we got with steam release would be porting the game to other platforms, like PSN, xboxlive, smarthpones, etc.

If you want to reduce energy prices, some new special pack (with rose regalia stuff or something) should also work.

Ce prices are not high-stop crying

6100 isn't high for CE. they have flooded the game with crowns and since the failure of the lockbox system everyone has extra crowns to pay more for CE. My advice is buy CE now

At what point was he "crying"?

means F2Pers get a better CE rate.

More "permanent" players is good. What good is it to have an economy that is unappealing to a new player and cause him to quit before he even has a chance to have the full experience of the game?

6000 CR per 100 CE is a poor

6000 CR per 100 CE is a poor return for those who buy CE from 000 and sell to other players. The only time I ever sell CE is if I'm really, really desperate for money, like I just NEED to craft an item, or I can sucked back into UV rolling somehow. I can get close to quadruple that amount doing two duke runs.

Robber barons, lol. Be thankful you can even buy CE at all.

No-Thanks

wouldnt that lead to more lag? :o

I hated the steam player

I hated the steam player influx. All that followed was 5000 spammers and another 100 threads saying "my review" and they just complained about things they hadn't figured out after a hour of playing.

I view CE prices as just

I view CE prices as just fine, then again I've played other MMOs and know that being able to buy a set of cash shop currency from a single run means its dirt cheap compared to the week or more it takes in many F2P MMOs.
