I've been thinking about it for a while.

Analyzing it twice a day.
Looking at the stats closely.
Ever since then, i've been wanting to get it.
So heres my opinion on the set:

Volcanic Salamander Mask
Volcanic Salamander Armor
Wise Owlite Shield
Levi/DA/CIV/GF
AGPM/UD
WHB/DVS/NN(nitronome)
AOI/SMB/VT(voltaic tempest)

Tell me your opinions on these ideas and tell me why or why not its a bad idea. I'd love to hear feedback.

Most people go for Vog

Most people go for Vog instead. Gives a sword ASI against everything instead of a single monster class damage bonus. Also, this should be in Arsenal, not General Discussion.

It's not a terrible armor set though. I'm building up to a Deadly Virulisk, personally, as an RJP-specific armor set.

volcanic is mostly for looks, the venom one is good too in that regard

Yeah

UGWW, based on the recent tests, is likely Piercing/Shadow/Poison. So Deadly Virulisk covers two of those, making it a nice choice. The slime bonus isn't going to be useful though. So you are better off just getting a Skolver coat with UV Poison High+.

If you really like Volcanic Salamander though, get it, enjoy it, and if you need some other defenses you can always wear it as a sweet costume.

Indeed

If I ever do UGWW it'll be in Skolver Cap UV Poison with Radiant Silvermail. If I had a Deadly Virulisk Mask then that would work instead of the Skolver Cap too.

It's funny, I was almost

It's funny, I was almost considering abandoning my Silvermail at 4* and going back to the angelic line for my shadow set, since I have the virulisk for my pierce set now.

Of course, with the current key system I'll never see UGWW anyway, so getting it to Radiant Silvermail still isn't going to be high on my priorities for a while.
