So does anyone agree that the Sapphire Titan Gate tier 3 post-Basil is the most ridiculous thing ever? It's a fiends stratum.

I was carrying a guildie, and I was using the following:

shock medium vog set
shadow medium grey owlite
2x tetras
vh ctr levi
vh ctr da
vh fiends FF
gremlin med dark briar barrage

Using my flourish, we got to the D26 Ice Maul arena no problem. But then this arena spawns waves of 8-10 ice greavers! Even with my Final Flourish I only managed to kill maybe 80% of the greavers before we were both killed. If you accidentally let them attack, that's 40 ice bullets flying around. You'd think that with that flourish and two tetras I ought to be able to kill those things. And yes, I know the strategy for killing greavers. Maybe I just suck.

We bailed after the second room. And I NEVER bail on arenas. Moving on...

D27 and 28 are Dark City: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Dark_City . Usually I can breeze through Dark City with my DBB, but I suppose I've never done it post-Basil. It was RIDICULOUS. I died 3 or 4 times!

I'm going to try this again, but solo. The monsters will die faster and I won't need to spend 20 of my 40 health resurrecting poor Kapps (who actually was surviving like a beast in only ash tail). Maybe I'll consider getting a divine set or some silvermail as well.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Namely giant packs of T3 greavers and Dark City D26-28? I can solo Vanaduke like nothing but this was just something else.
