Candy Depth Question? (Correlation?)

Is there any correlation between the depth at which you find the Punkin King and the amount of candy reward?
Also, is there any relationship between the theme of the map and the type of candy found (like more sour candy from Undead/Fiend levels)?
I hit 2 Punkin rooms in Stratum 1 of the the ICMF Gate; the first was Treat and the second was Trick. I ended up with 8 Sour, 7 Hard, and 5 Sweet. So, that is an average of 10 pieces per encounter in Stratum 1 (none of the clockworks levels in Stratum 2 gave me any love on that gate).
What kind of candy output are people getting from T2 and T3?
One other question, do the reward masks come BOUND or UNBOUND?

You can reliably find the
You can reliably find the king on depth 1 on a clockworks-like map. I don't know if the theme matters. I know I was doing a haunted, shock theme on depth 1 and I got him constantly.

My Experience
I found the king on 9 and 10 and got Treat both times. 3 each of Sour and Hard and 4 Sweet from both trips.

I've done a few runs in each
I've done a few runs in each tier and what I have noticed is you usually get 9-10 tokens each time you see him no matter what tier and no matter if its trick or candy. When its trick it usually drops a token the first 5 times it is hit then another 4-5 when it dies. (Just from my exp)

if you only want to get candy
if you only want to get candy tokens your best move bet is just to do the T1 gear levels over and over again, though it does cut into your cr + heat per 10 energy
P.S. People, don't give in to the "I WANT IT NOW" urge and buy a ton of silver keys now, just be patient and wait, when the cash dries up OOO will change their system and you will feel better when you do get your shadow key, gambling for a key now will only encourage them to stay with the current system and will not help your fellow players, pull your lockboxes from the AH for now (they may be worth more later ;) ), and if you see someone opening a bunch of boxes /epicfail them, please spread this message in-game and/or add this message to your posts.

Aaaaahhhhhh does the key which I will not name have to show up in every thread? I hate the way the new content is being put out too, but lets leave that for the other dozen hate threads.
I'm really just trying to ignore the new Lair content (which there is no way in bloody hell I will touch at the current price) & enjoy the Halloween fun.

masks do come bound. Which sucks, because candy expires. So on nov 1, your only choice is to get a mask you don't care about that will expire too, or just throw away the candy :(

@Batabii It's honestly not that hard. Spend your mist every day to go King hunting in gear levels. You'll get all 3 authentics before the event ends.

I wouldn't(And I doubt others will. xD), but if all I needed was one last coin and the event was closing, then I would be more than happy to pay 10k(Was that the price for one token?) for it. TBH, I think this is a great idea, it's not much of a crown sink, but it can help a little.
EDIT: And what the above said too, a friend of mine already has 40 candies, and that was just the first day. I would imagine it wouldn't be that hard to do by the end of next week. Sure, you're probably not going to have enough mist to do other runs, but a lot those runs can be done any other time. This is only for like once a year.(Possibly.)
I found one on T2 and got a treat...was just 10 pieces of candy (4, 3, and 3).
