I finally get gremlin stratums. TWO OF THEM.
And look, it even has four arenas on the way to the Roarmulus Twins.

Just in time to heat up my Miracle set too...
What I want to know is why are Gremlin Stratums so rare? Just to take a wild guess, it looks like Dark Matter is more common than the other minerals or something; the price the gates pay for it is almost always lower than the other minerals...
If I remember right the minerals NOT used to create a stratum is what is more likely to show up in that stratum. Can't site the source for that. JK is extremely popular, a slime stratum, making Darkmatter and Moonstone very very common. I believe it is supposed to be a way to force more variety, unfortunately due to the popularity of certain areas it just means that some themes show up more rarely.

It seems weird that boss stratums (which are fixed and require no materials to create) should have a bias towards certain materials...
Really weird.
Maybe not so much as make gates, but I try to prevent one from having a fiend stratum in lower(tougher) depths.

Is it just me though or does it seem like Gremlin maps are mostly just Construct? Deconstruction Zones seem like the only places I ever see many gremlins.
It is sort of strange, but when you think about it... Gremlins aren't just some monsters are that being breed, spawned, or created somewhere. They're actually sentient creatures. They want to have their machines do most of the fighting for them.
Yeah, its just that I end up all:
"Hey, gremlin stratum!"
*grabs shadow sword*
Then its all:
"Ok, just you and me elemental blade"
*dust gathers on lonely shadow sword*
nah i hate deconstruction zones and not other realy good gremlin maps out there oh and god how i hate dark city :s it's over in seconds???? please OOO delete dark city maps (or redesign them)
and make deconstruction more of a profit because now i just ignore them and never try to play them (that and they are booooooring)
I actually kinda like quick maps. I have a very finite amount of time that I can play & many nights I am just tying to sprint through to the boss as fast as I can so I can go to bed. If I had infinite time I would want all the maps to be epic, however as is, most nights I would have plenty of wasted, left-over mist if I didn't craft out the extra.

With the number of floors on each of those levels, you will wait for a very long time for those arenas to cycle through.
