Well I know the "Shoot-thru-blue-barrier-with-blitz needle" does NOT work anymore
Neither does any weapon I have that used to (Silversix, Blitz Needle, BTB,etc.) so that's...erm...can't say good, but... It doesnt work. :S

For the tier glitch, you might want to not exploit that. The GMs would rage at us! lolz

That's not exactly a glitch... that's called getting an invite (you can be invited to any Tier) when you have no money. You can't be invited into Shadow Lairs. It is well documented you can be invited to any Tier/floor... as long as it's not a boss floor, Treasure Vault (Fortune mocks the greedy), or Shadow Lair. If you're flat broke then the game lets you accept the invite, tries to take the non-existent 500cr, and goes on its merry way.

The only way to get around the fee would be to give ALL of your crowns to somebody and hope they give them back... not a bright idea.

Or, mail all your crowns to yourself. Or, give the crowns to an alt on another account. Or, put a bunch of bids in the cr<->CE exchange that will never fill (e.g. 1kcr per 100CE, plus one with whatever is left over). Or...

@Gwen From what I understand, the crown gate fee is waived if you accept an invite no matter how many crowns you have on you.

and you can just put dummy energy purchase i.e 5000cr x 100 or whatever to zero out your crowns temporarily.

I never put in a bug report for it, mostly because I never use it and didn't think about it. If I can't afford 500cr to get into T3 then I view it as time for me to play in another area until I even have that small amount. *posts one next time I sign on*

If you want to get into a tier and skip those nasty Fees, lets say you love going to vana.

Well all you have to do to skip those fees is finish the Tier 2 version of vana gate once each time gate changes. And those fees will vanish!

Actually no, the exploiters are helping the game get fixed quicker.

The glitch still works. I was running around charred court, minding my own business and noticed the water was there after 1 sprite....damn hacking teammates lol

I make sure to do every room and kill every slag in Charred Court to get every crown (and heat when needed) so the fact that this exploit exists is irrelevant to me.

@Mobbs: This is a free game with the option to spend cash. Did your mom ever tell you that if you don't like doing something then don't do it? If you don't like Spiral Knights then simply move on to something else :P

I've had party members do the glitch so they can take sprites on the elevator. I've never actually seen them do it because I'm usually busy soloing one of the rooms while they're goofing off.

There wasn't any stealth patch lately right? All the glitchs should still be there.

Also, I'm not sure why you would want to do the sprite glitch. I think I've seen it done just to show off. We end up clearing the level anyway...and frankly, who wants to keep those ugly little things longer than necessary? I'd bring them to the elevator just to drop them down the shaft and listen for the splat. Then I'd go tell the mother, in great detail, about her children's dying screeches as the ricocheted off of walls.

I'd leave her alive though. Let her debate on her poor parenting skills until a ripe old age.

Yeah, I haven't ever met one person who uses this glitch to actually skip any parts of the level.

unlike multiple other glitches this game has at the moment, like the zombie NOM NOM glitch, this is actually provoked by the player, and not an ingame action by accident.

Granted, I will admit I do use this glitch, I am not an honorable knight. But I still run through the entire Charred Court, or on occasion, skip the Rocket puppy room if need be. However, the only reason I use this glitch is to clean up the fire around the main hall and hallways in Charred Court. I do hope that is ok.

If it is not ok to use it even for that purpose, I will stop using the glitch.

I personally feel that this glitch came about when OOO fixed a previous glitch. (If 2 sprites were put into the circle simultaneously, it would count as one.) That glitch does not happen anymore if I am correct.

But please let me know if what I have been doing with this glitch is bannable. If it is bannable to use the glitch to clean up the shadow fire, I will stop immediately.
