F2P player, P2p Player What's the difference?
Who would ever want to be T3, Lockdown is SOO DUMM
lol what?
All the fun is in T3, T2 monsters are too easy and boring.
An F2P player hasn't spent any money on the game, and will find it rather tedious getting to Tier 3.
A P2P player bought energy with real money, and will generally progress faster through the game because even the smallest energy package (750 CE) is enough to boost someone to T2.
* * *
A P2P player provides the CE in the market. An F2P player provides the crowns.
* * *
P2P players support the developers, and indirectly the game, with money. F2P players directly support the game by playing it and trading their crowns for CE to progress.
* * *
Though I will admit there won't be much of a difference if a P2P player gives an F2P player both the Starter and Battle packs.
When you have full Tier 3 gear, lockdown becomes a little less dumb =)
Although Tier 2 lockdown is another good idea, just keep your gear under 4 star.
@Zinqf
Here is my Plan to tier2 lockdown-->tier3 lockdown:
1.get full tier 2 Sets
2.Earn or buy Tier 3 parts , one by one
3.Save the 5star parts
4.When u are fully set 5star use em all
5.Join LockDown Tier 3
6.???
7.Profit.
T3 =/= Lockdown
T3 = 4-5*, experience in the game more or less, Vanaduke, FSC, AND Lockdown optionally
derp
And just cus you're T3 will not mean you win every LD match thus your profit wouldnt work.
Note: in his post he NEVER mentioned crafting AT ALL.
In fact he says "save the 5* parts" so he's selling everything else.
and as xlyka said just because you have all 5* stuff doesnt mean you will win. In fact seeing how you view this game you will still get slaughtered
f2p = free to play.
In this game, f2p players can only play for about 2 hours per day. They also craft their weapons slowly (since crafting costs energy) and buy their recipes at a slower rate (since they've spent all their crowns on energy.)
p2p = pay to play.
If you pay OOO they will give you energy which you can sell on the energy market or use to craft your gear. It greatly speeds up your progress (since you will have energy crafting fees covered) and allows you to play infinite clockworks so long as you have more than 10 CE remaining.
I'd like to define a third sort of player. I guess a simple name would be the P2PFF (pay to 'play' for free). Not an exceptionally good name, but these are the players who invest initially, perhaps in a Starter or Battle Pack to get a boost into Tier 3 where the game becomes more interesting at which point they generally don't pay anymore. This isn't exactly limited to those who do it right away. I remember I was F2P until about my first or second 4* equipment. At which point the game was becoming boring because enemies were far too easy in Tier 2 and I had dreams of the dangers to be encountered in Tier 3.
So I bought some CE and remained a largely free to play player for a little while. Though once I found a new job I spend every now and then, maybe $100 bucks into the game over the 5 or 6 month period of I'm playing this.
damn that's a lot of money to drop on an F2P game
F2P = free to play. It describes a free type of game, and SK can be one since paying is optional.
P2P = pay to play. As above, but for paying instead.
Paying accounts don't share mist energy with accounts on the same computer.
If you paid 10 euro/usd or more in the last 30 days you get access to the test server.
Paying players assume some small moral superiority since they consider themselves to be supporting the game.
Free players assume some sense of accomplishment since getting to T3 is slower that way.
