Well as all of we know pets in the game would be really overpowered, laggy or useless.
We also know that besides having a cool hologram wolver, the wild hunting blade isnt good.

So what about this: A trinket that while you swing your sword it summons a monster that also attacks one time.
Just like the wild hunting blade.

Wolver trinket - hologram wolver that does little piercing damage.

Spookat trinket - Shadow damage

Scuttlebot trinket - elemental

And maybe for the charge attack they could do something too. Maybe a grimalkin.

OOOOOORRRRRRRRRR
option 2:
They could also work like an accesory, you attach it to your weapon. This would be a good nerf so you gotta have one for each weapon and also it expands the possibilities. For example:

A gun puppy one that you can only attach to guns so when you shoot a gun puppy appears next to you and shoots to the same direction (just a little to the side but you get the idea).

ive come up with an idea that

ive come up with an idea that makes it new and keeps pets to what thy should be while avoiding unbalancing combat, which many people have discussed they would. see my post;

"why pets should and shouldnt. and a third option".

Yah man i know i even

Yah man i know i even commented on your post.
The thing is that many people is against to have pets that follow you because of they could be overpoered, if they only follow you and dont attack they would be useless and in any of those cases they would make people lag.

Im not actually suggesting pets, its kind of an extra attack

Well, there are trinkets that

Well, there are trinkets that directly increase your damage so this can't be overpowered, but it's only for sword users :(

Yo look at the end. I made

Yo look at the end. I made out one for gunners too. Yeah they wouldnt be overpowered and you can even choose the type of damage that does the monster (obviously it would be a little low) so you can either choose to boost you snarble barb adding a ghost wolver or add a spookat to be a little prepared to fight jellies.

Little gun puppy that copies

Little gun puppy that copies your attack while you shooting a switch would be a pain. Especially in IMF :-D

Pets could also heal you over

Pets could also heal you over time like the guardian or it could jump infront of attacks

I still think Pocket Love

I still think Pocket Love Puppies are the only pet we'll never need.

yay yay yay

Solution to Merethif issue: the ghost comes at the end of a clip/combo.
You won't have problems unless they release a new 1-shot gun (punch gun doesnt count :D)

@Titanator No, constant healing IS overpowered

Well actually this isnt about

Well actually this isnt about pets, im actually trying to implement something that is already in the wild hunting blade to all the weapons, so this isnt about having a silk wing to heal you. Im not a gunner so i dont really know whats the problem with the ghost puppy but think about the ones on the swords attacks, i dont see any issue there. No matter if its a slow weapon or a fast one i can imagine a hologram mob attacking with me.

Sorry now i understand your problem with the gun puppy, well they attack by your side so if you want to hit a switch the gun puppy bullet would go pass it. But if in any case it hits I dont think that the switch will change. Think about the auto gun for example, multiple bullets hit the switch but the switch just change one time.

good start

Just have this idea only apply to charge attacks, thus eliminatiing and unwanted double fire on guns, and excessive lag from all the extra graphics. (yes, I have this problem, especially with bombs.)

Maybe for guns only on charge

Maybe for guns only on charge but for swords it works just right.

Bull sheet

This idea will NEVER work. It's too overpowered.
Option two: HMMM well it's not bad. Check out "The Constructor Series". It's almost along the lines of this idea.
I'm saying that pet trinkets are TOO overpowered in the game, either you have them or you don't.

May you say why are they too

May you say why are they too overpowered?
I think that they arent overpowered and the mechanics would work right for swords, not sure for guns. A while hunting blade already summons ghost wolvers and the damage is just a fraction of the main hit, so why you say this is overpowered?
