So I was messing around in lockdown pre-game, and I noticed that by dragging the icon of the lockdown shield off of the view thing, I was able to get my normal shield back, and ditch the striker/guardian/recon whatnot. It doesn't really do anything, and I played a couple of games with it, just for fun.

The normal shield does not work in lockdown, so the class shields must be directly tied into that, but it does give you whatever bonus your shield would give you.... which is great, but all of the lockdown shields give you ridiculous bonuses anyway. Didn't even display it in the actual match.
