I agree the team randomizer is a bit off. I once played a LD match against 4 dusters with toothpicks. Not fun.

All about capping and holding
All about capping and holding the spots you cap. You can deal x amount of damage and overkill the other team, but if you can't hold the spots for very long it won't help your team. I switched from Striker to Guardian for this one reason I have more hp can kill, but mainly bomb the _____ out of the other team end up with an average of 6k Damage, but hold at least one or two spots for my team the whole game which allows us to win most of the time.

Reminds me...
Once in Frostbite, our team was getting slaughtered on our side, so as Striker, I zipped over to the other team's home point, and killed the guy guarding it.
In groups of 2 or just one, they came to get me to re-capture their point.
I defended that point without dying for half the match.
Was so proud. ^^

Ever happened to me?
It sucks i know, especially when most of your team are barely tier 3 wielding ascended caliburs, not capping, or if they leave in the middle of battle. But so far, fortunately, I haven't lost a bombhead match yet.

Happens ALL the time
The randomizer never is nice to me. No pics for show but I had a game where I had 5 captures, 3 defends, and 24,891 damage and lost. I hate my teams D:

I know the feeling. And it's not that you're not trying to hold the control points, but you're inevitably killed and the rest of the team does not help you cap or defend, so you're basically doomed.
But then, this happens and you're a happy knight :)

This. A thousand times this. This is not team deathmatch (though that's an idea). This is control point. I'm always irked how we'll be holding 2 points well on a 3 point map, then the entire team rushes to the third and dies or leaves points open which are retaken. Incidentally, trying to hold a point by yourself as guardian is a pain. D:
It's also why I find it ridiculous when people say they are the best at lockdown. This is a team game; your singular effort doesn't mean jack if the team lets you down. After all, you can only carry teams so far.
