‘Ugh... What the hell just happened...Whoah, whoah, whoah...What is this place... My ship! No!... I must have crashed... damn... what am I going to do now...’

‘Well, the only way is forward I geuss... Hm?’ ‘WELCOME! Friend! To Spiral!’ ‘What? Who said that!’ ‘Ahh, don’t worry about me, we’ll meet soon enough, just try to survive for now!’ ‘Survive, SURVIVE! What do you mean survive! What am I doing here and why!’ ‘Calm down, calm down. All will be explained soon, just continue across the path towards them 2 red boxes.’ ‘Fine, but I want answers.’

‘Alright, I’m here.. What next?’ ‘Just swing your sword and break them.’ ‘Wait what sword... Where did this come from!.. Nevertheless, HI-YAH!’ ‘Now you see those 2 heart gems? If you pick one up and consume it, it will heal your wounds, but be careful they only regenerate a little so don’t go relying on them! There are better types of heart gems but that’s for another day. Now continue on and beat those 2 jellies!’

‘Raar! Hu-ah! My sword isn’t doing that well against these... Pink blobs of jelly?’ ‘They are Cubes my friend! Cubes of Jelly turned Evil! So if you sword is not working, use your Proto Gun!’ ‘My what?... Wait... Wow, I have weapons coming out of every nook and cranny huh?... This isn’t a bad looking weapon, time to test it out.’

*Wroaagh! Wroaagh!* ‘Haha! Those Jellies didn’t stand a chance against you! Now if you continue round the corner you will find 5 green boxes, they are reward boxes, make sure to get every one of them on your travels, they are quite handy at times.’

‘Okay got them... wait what are these red orbs?’ ‘Ah! They are a source of energy on Spiral, most monsters drop when they are defeated, it is called Heat, Now adventurers like yourself usually use it to power up Weapons and Armor but don’t worry about it now just collect it and we’ll go over it later. Now I’m sure you want to know what those coins are too? Well the are Crowns, not like the headwear, but you can buy headwear with it! It is the currency here on Spiral, make sure to collect both of these, they will come in handy.’

‘Well continue on, there is no more obstacles for you haha! When you reach the end you will find me’ ‘Okay, I’m on my way’

‘So you made it to me, well done!’ ‘You never said there would be multiple paths!’ ‘Well I thought you wouldn’t need to be guieded and indeed you did not’ ‘Wait... Aren’t you a Jelly!’ ‘Hahaaaa! Yes I am but I am not like my bretherin, I am what is called a Impostocube! I am a lot smarter and more handsome than other Jelly Cubes’ 'Okay so... why am I here?’ 'Well my friend, I do not have the answer... you do’ 'What?! No I don’t!’ 'Yes, every person who travels here wants something... whether it’s fame, fortune or just plain adventure, they all want one thing. If you do not know, you will in time so! Time for me to show you how to power your Weapons and Armor, but first what is your name?’ 'Ryan... My name is Ryan...’

‘Well Ryan! Time for you to have a life full of adventure... Maybe... So! Travel through that screen over there!’ Impostocube indicated a flickereing screen behind him. ‘Okay...’ Ryan walked through it, suddenly his Armor and Weapons started to glow a dull white then Ryan heard a bing sound. ‘What just happened?!’ Ryan exclaimed, 'Your Armor and Weapons just powered up, and apparently levelled up, if you ever hear a bing sound after going through one of them screens your Armor and/or Weapons have leveled up, You can tell which one has because they glow brighter than the others.’ Impostocube whas silent for a while.

'So Ryan, it’s time for us to part ways... I hope to meet you one day but I cannot travel into the rescue camp, most other people aren’t as nice as you, remember not to hurt any other impostocubes, we are very easy to spot though so I’m sure you won’t haha!’ 'Heh, Yeah, a Jelly Cube with hair, a moustache and a wooden pipe? I’ll definitely not forget that, bye impostocube and... thanks for your help...’ Ryan thanked him slightly down. 'Goodbye, friend’

James turned and continued down the path and some stairs which were at the end, before he rached the top he turned and had one last look at a very surprising new friend, he really did hope to see him again because, although they had only just met, he was the only 'friend’ Ryan had on Spiral, but who knew what would happen.

He turned and continued up the stairs, when he reached the top he saw a camp in the distance, 'What will happen next I wonder?’ Ryan asked himself, 'Well, I geuss we’ll find out.’

Well there you have it, my first bit to this story :3 I hope you like it.
I will be making the characters more humanoid, as in their feelings and shtuff like that, hope that ain't bad xD

I would like to know whether I should make a new thread for my first chapter (when I finish it) or whether I should add it to this somehow. If you have an idea I would love to hear it because I don't know how I should do it xD
As well as give me feedback on the way I composed this and other things, I'm always open for suggestions ^_^ (That means spelling mistakes aswell xD although I'm from england so remember the whole o/ou thingy mabob :P)
