What makes other games super addictingly fun and I never ever want to quit just yet c:

Well, I play Spiral Knights occasionally now a days since I'm tired of grinding and have seen majority of what the clockworks has to offer. Three Rings promised us a no-grinding game on their promotional videos. But honestly, everyone's just out there playing this game to grind more crowns to make better gear. What would be really nice would be these few things that for sure make me play Spiral Knights more often than once every 3 days to do half a run.

I have some small lectures to say:

1. The way we make crowns in the game. The most populated gates are Royal Jelly gates, then comes Fire Storm Citadel, and then probably Snarbolax? Or maybe not a third. The player base is still small even if it does make up around 1k - 2k players in exploring in the gates. Before it'd be around 500 on each now it's a small max of 200 - 300 or less while the RJ gate around 500 - 700. What would be nice is if we could make around the same money of crowns on any other gate since I honestly do not like doing RJ just to farm crs. After I become T3 what's next? FSC farm grinding. Pssh. We just want to make a lot of crowns on our runs, if all runs made around 7k crowns even boss gates, then more players would explore more gates rather then grind our buttoxes off for money. I got myself an ele pass but honestly I barely even get on SK anymore since there are no interesting gates to play and RJ farming is too dull for me. What I do now if half a run and then no one will see me for at least 2 - 3 days. These 2 weeks are nearly over and i have barely used my new pass. That just shows how bored I must have gotten with SK. PvP is okay, I prefer BN due to the way I play this game w/o a mouse.

2. As a RETURNING PLAYER, it's not about adding content for end-game. That's not what the new content to be added should be. What would surely make this game funner is the experience of playing SK like I did back when I first got into the game. SPIRAL KNIGHTS IS A GREAT GAME! BACK WHEN I FIRST STARTED AS A TRUE NEWBIE, I WAS OVERWHELMED AT HOW FUN THIS GAME WAS. The surprise of not knowing anything about these maps and adventuring freely with my group/party members as we fought monsters in our way to reach that elevator and go down to that next depth was a thrill of excitement. Tier 3 is sure fun because of it's difficultyness. T2 isn't as much fun when you have 4* gear players easily killing our way out which is why i prefer playing with 2 and 3* gear players on T2. But back ON TOPIC, what this game needs now to stop it's players from leaving, to ensure that this game will not be boring enough for players to leave in 2 or 3 months due to doing everything you possibly could on here is to add more maps. Not 1 or 2 but 100 or 200 different maps that circle in the clockworks. New maps, with new different types of monsters. A lot of maps!!!!!! a lot alot alot alot alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make us players feel new to everything like we did back in those good newbish days. Maps that are hard, more PUZZLES, brain teasers. How will we open this gate, codes etc. Traps!!!!!!!!! Fun hard traps. More mini bosses added like the poison lichen that spanws in that poison field. WE NEED 200 DIFFERENT MAPS OF 200 DIFFERENT CONTENT. WHAT GAMES SO ADDICTINGLY THAT I'D LOOSE MY LIFE OVER IT ARE VAST EXPLORATION OF BEAUTIFUL UNTAMED LANDS. EVEN ADD A FEW NPCS ON THOSE 200 DIFFERENT MAPS THAT MAY GIVE A QUEST LIKE HOW IN FSC WITH THE SPRITES. <~~ FUN HARD NEW MAPS UNEXPLORED WITH NEW TONS OF MINI BOSSES. TROJAN MINI BOSS, LICHEN MINI BOSS.

Summary of my rant:
Make all gates make the same profit of 7k like RJ for T2/ depending on stratum is how much you would make compared to boss depth stratum so the need of grinding will truly be diminished and i can freely choose any gate to explore even with or w/o and ele pass. And also add around 100 - 200 new maps with different content style, more beautiful lands, hard mini bosses like the poison lichen etc hard depths, more traps and puzzles to solve things, one those 100 - 200 new maps add some few npcs on hard floors that give out a certain quest like the FSC sprite.

Make those 200 new maps with new types of monsters, then go advertise OOOs. Add a few clockwork clockwork looking levels lol and add some more of epic looking levels, mini GraveYard boss, more epic lands.

They are working on it as we speak...

Now, i might not be in staff, but they HAVE been slowly changing the clockworks over the few months that i have been playing, and i really like that. Note that it has been stated ( in the testing feedback page i think, or on here O.o) that they work on a bajillion things all at once. That being said, they can easily implement a consistent stream of minor things while they work on bigger projects... i believe that the shadow lairs was one of these Bigger things...

But really, i love the idea of more maps, ~ the same CR gain as other runs, and the exploratory bit. What they have done with the clockworks is make different puzzle peices and smash them together. This made SUPER apparent with the drones, just look on the minimap and see the "Walls" that were put in to be recognized by wisps and drones. Now, to add to you suggestion, lets use this to our advantage and make different "Areas" to smoosh together.

-Desert: lots of sand, SOME (Not too many) fire creatures. Gremlins. (Just a smidge) Chromalisks. (The normal ones should be changed to desert-y tones and MAYBE stun with their tounges...) And some zombies. The smashable bits should some piles of rocks and burnt looking shrubs. Major features should include some Pyramids, (Lots o zombies) Gremlin camps, (Lots o gremlins) and some SK camps, kinda like the scenario rooms.

I'll add some more later, but i'm too exited and must play now.... ^-^

On a side note, should i just make a whole new suggestion? O.o

That is dead on perfect!! They should DEFINITELY be adding that too. Mhmm I see tho. I'm a little burned out on SK at the moment. I love the no-quest-grinding and the no-grinding-level since the only leveling in the game is for weapons. Leveling heat doesn't take much. Aside from that, the only purpose the players have in Spiral Knights is to get the best gear around. Once that goal is met they get burnt out and have nothing better to do but find another game to do the same which honestly I will never understand gamers because of this concept. Well that's what PvP is there for I guess lol.

This game lacks of a lot of stuff, just going to the clockworks doesnt satisfy my thirst of adventure. The current system is all about grinding to get a better weapon. It turns repetitive after a while. It need serious improvement.
