Im close to the vanaduke boss and i need to know if vanaduke is considered a undead monster so undead bonus equip. would work better? Like the cold iron carver/vanquisher.

Vanduke isn't really part of a monster family ,but I'll give you some hints as to what you should equip! ;D For the levels before Vanduke you're going to want an elemental weapon Divine Avenger, Glacius, Voltedge. These swords will do better than the Cold Iron series for zombies and Slags ,but if you already crafted a Cold Iron Carver than you should just use it in the mean time! For Vanduke your going to want a handgun. The best handguns are Blitz Needle, Argent Peacemaker, and Polaris. (Which works ,but not recommended) In phase 2 and 4 (Mask phases) You're going to want a normal damage weapon the Cold Iron Carver works well there! Toss out any shadow damage weapons you have and don't use them... They're practically useless. Hope this answers your question!

I thought that he is undead too. But he is rez to ele and weak to piercing so he should be beast.

He's not part of any monster
He's not part of any monster family. His body phases are weak to pierce and his mask phases slightly resist everything but normal.

Vanaduke is not Undead. With
Vanaduke is not Undead. With full Deadshot and a gun damage trinket i do 1XX (forget the numbers) to him with Blitz's charge, while with max gun damage I do 218.
Vana's body phases he is weak to Piercing as Nicoya said, during his head phases he slightly resists all but Normal damage. In his final body phase he is completely immune to Shadow damage.
