The TF2 one? I got that very, very recently. Took ages to actually register that I had the 'chievo and give me the hat, if that's what you mean.

I've tried getting it but for
I've tried getting it but for some reason it won't register that I've done the necessary steps to get it.
So fudge it, I've gone 6 months without it, no sense in worrying about it now.

I have it, It took a while to
I have it, It took a while to get even though i started playing the day it was released on steam and i had 100+/- friends. I think it took so long because you need 5 people to make it all the way to haven. There are a few people who have it so it's not ultra rare.
